Itinerary Details
Day 1: Arrival in Nairobi, Kenya
Your safari begins with your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi, where you’ll be met by your safari guide and transferred to your hotel for rest and a briefing. You can enjoy an optional visit to the Giraffe Centre or David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage. Spend the night at Nairobi Serena Hotel, Giraffe Manor, or Eka Hotel.
Day 2: Nairobi to Maasai Mara National Reserve
After breakfast, depart for Maasai Mara, a 5-6 hour drive, with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint along the way. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five. Overnight at Mara Serena Lodge, Ashnil Mara Camp, or Sarova Mara Camp.
Day 3: Full Day in Maasai Mara
Start your day with an early morning game drive to catch predators in action, and consider an optional hot air balloon safari at sunrise. Day 4: Maasai Mara to Serengeti National Park (Tanzania)

Day 5: Full Day in Serengeti

Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater Tour

Day 8: Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara National Park
Drive to Lake Manyara National Park (2 hours) for a game drive, where you can spot tree-climbing lions, flamingos, and hippos. You can also enjoy an optional cultural tour at Mto wa Mbu village. Overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge or Lake Manyara Kilimamoja Lodge.
Day 9: Lake Manyara to Amboseli National Park (Kenya)
After breakfast, drive to Amboseli National Park via the Namanga border. Enjoy an afternoon game drive with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro and possible sightings of large elephant herds. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge, Ol Tukai Lodge, or Tortilis Camp.
Day 10: Full Day in Amboseli
Start with an early morning game drive against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, and visit Observation Hill for panoramic views of the park. Enjoy an afternoon game drive for more wildlife encounters. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge, Ol Tukai Lodge, or Tortilis Camp.
Day 11: Amboseli to Lake Naivasha
Drive to Lake Naivasha (4-5 hours) and enjoy a boat safari to see hippos and birdlife. You can also visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari. Overnight at Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or Enashipai Resort & Spa.
Day 12: Lake Naivasha to Nairobi (Departure)
Spend the morning at leisure or visit Hell’s Gate National Park for a cycling or walking safari. Drive back to Nairobi (2 hours) and transfer to the airport for departure, with an optional stop for shopping at the Karen Blixen Museum or Kazuri Beads Centre.
